Christmas markets
The christmas period can be experienced in a particularly atmospheric way in the Wilder Kaiser region. When the old church squares are transformed into christmas markets with lots of arts and crafts from the region. The Christmas market in Going and the Söller Krippenadvent in particular invite you to take a pleasant stroll through the snow-covered village and enchant you with the spicy scent of mulled wine and sounds of traditional folk music.
Mountain Advent at Hartkaiser
In Ellmau special attention was paid to the harmonious setting of “Ellmi’s magical mountain advent”. The location is a special way to experience the fascination and wonder of the Christmas period. In the magical forest around the “Bergkaiser” panoramic restaurant, there are seven stations to hike through on a romantic, but leisurely tour. Each individual Christmas hut is fascinating in its own way.
Super & Family Ski Weeks
Each winter there is a 15% discount on all multi-day ski passes of 3 days or more as part of the Super Ski Weeks.
During the Family Ski Weeks, all children and young people up to 15 years of age receive a free ski pass as soon as a parent purchases a ski pass for at least 3 days.
Ellmauer Ski Show
The spectacle opens with a flag parade by the ski instructors. Then it continues with the a ski show from the Ellmau ski schools, who demonstrate their skills with synchronized and nostalgic skiing. The event concludes with a “Pistenbully Parade” coming down in formation. If you want to combine the Ellmauer ski night with a torchlight hike – Meet at 7:45 p.m. by the tourist information office in Ellmau and off you go! Entry is free.
